We've been attacked by icebergs!
Here are the Flatrock iceberg duo at twilight last night. This first pic shows the larger iceberg in the outer harbour; you turn down a steep hill into the town's harbour, and your eyes are met with this massive iceberg on the horizon, as if its charging the houses!
All of the remaining pics are of an even more massive iceberg stuck completely into the harbour. You could likely throw a rock from shore and hit this guy, he's so close. Also - look at the houses on shore behind the close-up pics... this one's huge. You can see how it cools the moist air around it, as it has its own fog and auora even on a nice day.
Camera died after it took that pic of me (I can now say I'm so ugly I actually DID break a camera), and if it hadn't I could have got even more impressive pics from the opposite side of the harbour... c'est la vie! The upside: now I go to look at buying a new digital camera toy!
Back to heavy rain here today. Yet, when the weather is right here, carpe diem!
