This is a Lohner-Porsche from 1900 at the world show in Paris. 2 electro motors are build in the front wheels. The electro mobil had 2.5 horse and could go for 50 Km.

Again, this was one hundred and eight years ago. At that time the managers of GM & Chrisler were still living in caves ...

Snowy Fun!

Sorry I've been away for a while... busy time of the year for Mr. Teacher up until yesterday, when school ended for the Christmas break. Also, the younger lady here, Fiona, had developed a rare infection in her lymph system. While her infection is still not fully sorted out, you can see that she and her sister Zoe have remained in great spirits, as they await Santa Claus' trek around the world!

I cut this log today, the saw was just big enough to to the job.

Pick out your bar top. Are they big enough?.... they are approximately 2 1/16" thick x 22 1/4" wide x 64" long. Jens, if Oregon had cows that looked that good I would be hand milking a whole herd of them twice a day in that freezing weather with a smile on my face!

Icy Runway

Oregon Coastline

When I moved to the Oregon Coast I was told it is very mild here and never gets cold. Right now it's 25F (-4 Celsius).

Randy, If I build a Famous Grouse bar here with your Monkey Pod boards we wouldn't need ice for the Scotch. I rather get a burned belly from the kauaian sun than frozen fingers from the Oregon Coast "Heatwave"

The Napali coast viewed from Kokee at 4000 ft. (1219 meters) elevation. If you had really good eyesight you could see the icey Oregon coastline across the ocean from here. I have some nice pieces of wood to make a bar top, you can have them, they weigh about 200 lbs. (91 kilos) each how shall we send them, airmail? Randy
