In North America, it is "Father's Day"... sure, a little bit corporate, but a great excuse to gather the gals together and start to reclaim some land for Mother Earth. We moved into our 'new' home two years ago, and between putting in lawns and trees, we are now developing a vegetable garden in our back yard. We will have pumpkins, beans, peas, strawberries and potatoes, thanks to a little help from MellowYellow and B-Dot. Then, as da Famous Fog settled in the afternoon (surprise there, eh?) we headed off to the local bookstore for a good book, hot chocolate and a soft couch.
No need to convince ourselves, weather good or not, it is true: LIFE IS GOOD!
Cheers,
Father Grouse
PS. Sepp, I may take my red bike out in the crappy weather forecasted tomorrow and commute to work, braving your type of elements... Prost!
